Our Mission

ASD Solutions’ mission is to provide integrated support services to individuals with neurological differences in order to increase independence and participation in the community, as well as enhance employability, productivity, social interactions, and family life. We assess each person’s unique set of needs and personalize our approach to meet those needs.

ASD Solutions staff provide a range of support services to help neurodivergent adults at all stages of life become self-sufficient and productive members of the community.

Meet the Team

Our Team

Our team is composed of professionals and educators who have extensive experience in working with people who have neurodivergent profiles. Many of our staff have children, siblings, relatives, or friends with similar backgrounds. Hence, their work affects them at a very personal level. Neurodivergent employees are also an integral part of our team.

About Our Founder

Bice Del Galdo

Our organization was founded by Bice Del Galdo, a former Senior Human Resource Executive. Having a daughter with autism/learning differences, she has a deep understanding of this journey and is driven to help others with the same situation.


Bice earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Montclair State University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is also an Erickson Certified Professional Coach and SHRM Senior Certified Professional.

 

Furthermore, she is a member of the Board of Directors of ASPEN (Asperger Autism Spectrum Education Network, Inc.) and the Coordinator of the Adult Issues ASPEN, Morris County Chapter. She is a qualified provider for the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities as well.


Bice specializes in career development, life coaching, and workplace advocacy for individuals with social communication challenges. She is dedicated and committed to facilitating and training others so they achieve the highest level of personal fulfillment.

Shannon Kruse, MA, LAC

Shannon Kruse is one of the organization’s Support Specialists. Shannon has 10+ years of experience in career planning, development, and support. Shannon has specialized in vocational evaluation, job development, work adjustment training, job coaching and career counseling, so she has acquired her expertise in employment services from a wide array of perspectives. Shannon is a Licensed Associate Counselor educated in therapeutic interventions, specifically cognitive and behavioral. She is experienced in life skills development, family support and involvement in the community. Having an autistic nephew and previous experience working with neurodivergent individuals, Shannon has gained insight into the world of neurodiversity and understands the importance of focusing on individuals' strengths and interests rather than limitations. 


She has a master’s degree in Counseling, Post-Master's certification in Family Therapy and a bachelor’s degree in Family Services from Montclair State University. Shannon has a passion for helping clients’ find careers, become successful members of the community and build the lifestyle they have always wanted.

Gemma Vazquez

Gemma Vazquez is a dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has been working in the field for 11+ years. Gemma currently works with people aged 2-21 within the special needs community. She also has experience working with older clients and those with varying needs. Gemma moved to New Jersey from England to pursue her career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).


Gemma has a master’s degree from Caldwell College. Gemma has worked in schools, clients’ homes, and the community, and has provided direct services, supervision, parent and staff training, assessments, and program development. Gemma loves her work and is excited to continue her journey with ASD Solutions.
